Exploration of conductivity anomalies identified by airborne electromagnetic (“AEM”) and magnetic surveys conducted in 2023 over Bravo’s flagship Luanga Project led to the discovery of high-grade Cu-Au ± Ni mineralization in massive to brecciated sulphides at the T5 and T16 targets, alongside several additional Cu-Au targets. Initially interpreted as iron sulphide copper-gold (“IOCG”)-type mineralization, these occurrences are now considered to represent the closely related iron sulphide copper-gold (“ISCG”) deposit type (see news release dated April 9, 2026).
Building on these results and recognizing the potential of the Carajás Mineral Province (“CMP”) to host high-grade, small- to mid-tonnage Cu-Au deposits, Bravo established a dedicated, separately funded Copper-Gold Exploration Division in February 2026, with its own leadership, budget and technical team.
At Luanga, the division is advancing an integrated exploration program combining geological mapping, geochemical sampling, geophysics and drilling to refine and prioritize Cu-Au targets, including potential deeper extensions of known mineralization. A deep induced polarization (IP) survey is underway, alongside additional mapping and sampling, with an approximately 8,000 m drilling program expected to commence in Q4 2026.
The division’s mandate also includes identifying and evaluating acquisition and growth opportunities across the CMP to expand Bravo’s copper optionality alongside its core Luanga PGM+Au+Ni Project.
The Canaã Copper acquisition represents the first tangible result of this strategy, establishing a foothold in the prospective Canaã district of IOCG deposits. The property hosts the previously drilled Tapuia and Gueroba Cu-Au prospects, targeted for further infill and exploratory drilling, as well as additional Cu-Au and Ni exploration potential across the broader property.
Following the acquisition, Bravo has expanded its Cu-Au team, including technical personnel previously involved in exploration at Canaã Copper under OZ Minerals (“OZ”).
Bravo’s management and technical teams bring extensive combined experience in exploration, property negotiations, project development and operations within the CMP. The Division continues to evaluate additional opportunities in the region.
