Simon Mottram
President
Mr. Mottram is a graduate of RMIT University (Melbourne, Australia) with a BSc in Applied Geology and is a Fellow of the AusIMM. He has over 32 years of experience across base metals (copper, nickel) and precious metals (gold, PGMs).
Mr. Mottram has held executive and senior management roles with several successful mining companies globally and has progressed multiple discoveries through to commercial production, with a strong track record of exploration success.
He has served as President of Bravo Mining since its inception. Prior to this, he was CEO (based in Brazil) and later a Non-Executive Director of Odin Metals Ltd. (ASX). He previously served as Executive Director of Avanco Resources Ltd. (ASX), based in Brazil from 2011 to 2018, and Avenue Resources Ltd. (ASX).
Earlier in his career, Mr. Mottram was Country Manager, Vietnam for Asian Mineral Resources Ltd. (TSX.V) from 2008 to 2011. He also held senior technical and operational roles with several Australian-listed companies, including Falcon Minerals Ltd. (ASX), Jubilee Mines NL (ASX), Metex Resources Ltd. (ASX), and Sons of Gwalia Ltd. (ASX), where he contributed to mine development and exploration programs, including at the Carosue Dam Gold Mine.
Mr. Mottram has also served as an Executive Director of Odin Metals Ltd. (ASX), Avanco Resources Ltd. (ASX), and Avenue Resources Ltd. (ASX), and as a Non-Executive Director of Oceana Lithium Ltd. (ASX), Medusa Mining Ltd. (ASX), Odin Metals Ltd. (ASX), and Fin Resources Ltd. (ASX).
Mr. Mottram is an Australian and British national and a permanent resident of Brazil, where he has lived with his family for over 15 years. He is fluent in Portuguese.
Manoel Carlos Cerqueira
CFO
Mr Manoel Cerqueira is a graduate of Celso Lisboa University Center, in Accounting, and also a graduate in Law from Candido Mendes University, both in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Mr Cerqueira has over 35 years of experience in senior management positions in North American, UK and Australian companies in Brazil, mostly in the mining sector.
He was previously the Brazil CFO for the ASX listed Avanco Resources Ltd., from 2017 to 2021, a copper producing company with gold and copper exploration projects in Brazil that was acquired by OZ Minerals Ltd in 2018. Prior to this he worked independently as a consultant for mining companies (Avanco Resources Ltd and Canadian listed Luna Gold Corp.) and previously held the position of CFO for multiple Canadian listed resource companies including Rio Verde Minerals (potash and phosphate exploration), Talon Metals Corp. (iron ore exploration) and Amazon Mining (gold exploration).
Mr Cerqueira was formerly VP Finance, Brazil for TSX/NYSE listed Kinross Gold Corp.; CFO Brazil for TVXNA (TVX Normandy) where he also served as a member of the three TVXNA Joint Venture Boards, with two in Brazil and one in Chile. He was also CFO for the Brazilian operation of TSX listed intermediate gold producer Eldorado Gold, ASX listed Western Mining and BP Mining in Brazil. He started his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. Independent Auditors.
Mr Cerqueira is a Brazilian and Portuguese national and fluent in English.
Paulo Ilidio de Brito
VP Exploration
Mr. de Brito is a BSc geologist graduated in the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), Brazil and has over 37 years of experience in the mining industry, working as a geologist and exploration team leader of international mining companies, responsible for the planning and development of exploration programs, interpretation of data, project evaluation, drilling stages, geological model development, budget administration, and tenements’ applications.
He started his carrier with Western Mining Corporation in 1983 and subsequently held VP Exploration/Exploration Manager positions on companies such as: Talon Metals Corp, Rio Verde Minerals, Paringa Resources Limited and Five Star Diamonds.
His experience encompasses many commodities, including gold, copper, nickel (sulphide & laterite), iron ore, vanadium, diamond (gems) and fertilizers.
Mr. de Brito is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG #5173) and a member of AusIMM, the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM #223453). He is a Qualified Person and a Competent Person as defined in National Instrument 43-101 and in the 2012 edition of the JORC Code, respectively.
Mr. Brito is Brazilian and is fluent in English.
Heinrich Muller
VP Technical Services
Mr. Heinrich Müller is a mining executive and professional geologist with over 18 years of experience across the resources value chain. He has held senior operational, leadership, and consulting roles across South America, Southern Africa, Europe, and North America, working with both private and publicly listed mining companies.
Mr. Müller has led and contributed to multidisciplinary teams delivering a broad range of projects, including greenfields and advanced-stage developments, feasibility studies, open-pit mine commissioning, and operational production management. His previous roles include Managing Director of Anglo Platinum Brazil and Managing Director of Pedra Branca Minerals, a joint venture between Anglo American plc (LSE/JSE) and Solitario Resources Corp. (NYSE American/TSX). From 2017 to 2019, he served as COO of Jangada Mines plc (AIM), where he supported the development and subsequent sale of the Pedra Branca project.
Mr. Müller is the founder and director of Axies Ventures Ltd., which led the Kokkinoantonis copper discovery in Cyprus, and currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Jangada Mines plc (AIM).
He has extensive experience operating in complex, multicultural environments and is fluent in English, Portuguese, and Afrikaans. Mr. Müller has a strong understanding of mineral economics and executive-level management, including finance, legal and risk management, governance, ESG, and human capital management. He holds a BSc in Geology and Earth Science from Stellenbosch University and a postgraduate certification in Minerals Processing Characterisation and Technology from the University of São Paulo.
Alex Penha
EVP Corporate Development
Mr. Alex Penha holds an MBA from York University (Schulich School of Business), a BSc in Economics from Rio de Janeiro State University, and a Postgraduate Degree in Corporate Finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas (Rio de Janeiro).
He has over 20 years of experience in Canadian capital markets focused on junior mining companies, including roles in investment banking, equity research, and as an executive officer of TSX- and TSX.V-listed companies, where he has played key roles in equity financings, IPOs, corporate development, and M&A transactions.
Mr. Penha is a Founder, Director, and EVP Corporate Development of privately held 4B Mining Corp., a Brazilian iron ore producer and manganese project developer. He is also an Independent Director of Harvest Minerals Ltd. (AIM) and Corporate Development Advisor to Jangada Mines plc (AIM).
His previous roles include Founder and VP Corporate Development of Rio Verde Minerals Development Corp. (TSX), VP Corporate Development at Aura Minerals Inc. (Nasdaq/B3), General Manager Corporate Development at Rio Novo Gold Inc. (TSX), and EVP Corporate Development, Director, and Chair of the Audit Committee at Search Minerals Inc. (TSX.V), along with advisory roles for companies listed in Canada, the UK, and Australia.
Earlier in his career, he held positions in equity research and investment banking, including Vice President, Research and Corporate Development at Tau Capital Corp. (Canada), Precious Metals Research Associate at Merrill Lynch Canada and Clarus Securities Inc., and Investment Banker at Westwind Partners / Thomas Weisel Partners Canada. He also spent nearly 10 years in corporate finance roles with capital markets institutions in Brazil.
Mr. Penha has served as a Board Member of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) and Chair of its Mining Committee. He is a Brazilian and Canadian national.
